There are four key education and skills programmes running under the New Aspirations working group. Below is a summary of those programmes . If you wish to find out more detail click on the project title.

 

Get Set - is the official London 2012 education programme for schools, colleges and local authority education providers across the UK. More than 700 schools and colleges in the South East are already registered with Get Set and this is increasing weekly.

 

Personal Best - is an exciting national Level 1 pre-employment programme in preparation for event volunteering designed to help participants who are disadvantaged in the labour market to progress to employment, further training and volunteering, with the opportunity of a guaranteed interview to become a London 2012 Games Time Volunteer.

 

GO-Learn - is the name of ‘Golden Opportunities to Learn’, a non-prescriptive toolkit designed to allow organisations to harness the interest generated by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in attracting adults and young people into learning, volunteering and work.
