New Aspirations

The focus of New Aspirations is to provide a cultural, social, educational, skills and volunteering legacy in the South East for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

New Aspirations will encompass Culture, Communities and Education agendas in the run up to the 2012 Games, and will replace the Culture and Communities working group and part of the SEESEL working group. Sally Abbott (Arts Council England, South East) and David Smith (Skills Funding Agency) will jointly lead this work.

Membership will represent the existing and new organisations who wish to make a key contribution to the planning delivery of the New Aspirations legacy.

There are seven priority 2012 Aspirations legacy projects which have been designed to inspire young people, adults and communities.

The New Aspirations Working Group Includes:

Culture

Young People

Adult Learning
