Unemployed and disadvantaged people across the South East are being offered the chance to gain new skills and employment opportunities through Personal Best.
Personal Best is an exciting national Level 1 pre-employment programme in preparation for event volunteering designed to help participants who are disadvantaged in the labour market to progress to employment, further training and volunteering, with the opportunity of a guaranteed interview to become a London 2012 Games Time Volunteer.
The LSC are proud that Personal Best in the South East is one of the first projects to be recognised by the London 2012 Inspire programme. The Inspire Mark recognises that Personal Best has been ‘inspired by London 2012’ and reflects the values of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements.
