Olympic Standard Customer Care - Hosting the World
This programme will objective will deliver Welcome to Excellence/Gold standard customer care courses to 5000 participants in the lead up to 2012 and an additional number of businesses will be accredited for their commitment to high levels of customer service.
The South East has several important Ports of Entry and Gateways to the region and these will be prioritised to ensure that Games -time visitors will have the highest standard of welcome to the region and the UK.
The ‘Hosting the World’ programme has been developed to encourage businesses to improve customer service, business skills and profitability in preparation for 2012. This was piloted in the Eton Dorney area and is now being rolled out across the South East.
